Andrew Turner‘s slides and impressions from his session at Where 2.0 are available at High Earth Orbit.
I wasn’t at the conference myself, but geo:truc was there, as you can see in the slides. Thanks Andrew!
GeoPress allows users to easily embed locations into blog post, in various formats (a dynamic map, as well as microformats (geo and adr)), and add this information in the syndication feed using the GeoRSS standard.
So far it was only available for WordPress. That’s a good news for the Movable Type community
Google announced today, at Where 2.0 (37.333205, -121.890112), a new product: Google Maps Street View, allowing you to explore cities (5 at the moment) with 360-degrees scenes of street level imagery.
The video is very exciting (and funny).
Only five cities are available at the moment: San Francisco, New York, Las Vegas, Miami, and Denver.
